Breathers are a cost-effective and reliable way to monitor the amount of moisture that reaches electrical equipment as the volume of the cooling medium and/or airspace increases due to temperature gradients. Breathers up to 2000kva Transformer capability are available from us.
The Body and Oil Cup is made of UV-resistant polycarbonate that is both transparent and unbreakable.
CRCA Layer is used for the top and bottom, and Specially Constructed Rubber Gaskets and Studs are used to connect the top and bottom to the body.
Externally, a UV-resistant powder coating has been applied. (Not the Phosphate Cleaning Method, but with seven tanks.)
The Silica Gel Extracting & Refilling process is specially designed to eliminate the need for professional workers on the job site, as well as air leakage.
BREATHING PROCESS OF TRANSFORMER
Breathing is the mechanism by which the transformer inhales or exhales air from its body as a result of thermal contraction and expansion of the oil mass. The oil temperature inside the transformer tank increases or falls as the transformer is primed or unloaded, and the air pressure inside the tank varies as the transformer breathes in or out air. The transformer's "breathing" is the name for this occurrence. The air we breathe now includes dust particles and/or humidity, all of which alter the oil's dielectric power. It is important for the proper operation of a transformer that the dielectric strength of the transformer oil remains unaffected. As a result, the air entering the transformer must be free of moisture and dust spores.
SILICA GEL BREATHER FEATURE
Silica Gel Breather's main purpose is to dehydrate (remove moisture from) and remove dust particles from the air breathed in by the transformer.
